The Wager's plan to join Give and Teach full-time as Associate Directors in 2027. 

Samantha and Brandon will serve as a full-time representative of Give and Teach, advancing the ministry through Christ-centered leadership, evangelism, discipleship, community development, and relationship building in Guatemala.

Working under the direction of the Founders and Board of Directors, they will partner with Guatemalan staff, local churches, village leaders, mission teams, and ministry supporters to fulfill the mission of Give and Teach.

Our Testimony...

​Our family’s journey to missions has been one of God faithfully leading us, one step at a
time. Even before we were married, God was already preparing each of our hearts
through short-term mission trips. Samantha first traveled to the Dominican Republic in
2014, and once married, Brandon’s first mission trip with our family was also to the
Dominican Republic in 2019. On those trips, we experienced the joy of serving others,
sharing the love of Christ, and witnessing God move in powerful ways. Those
experiences planted seeds that would continue to grow for years to come.
As our family grew, so did our desire to serve the Lord together. In 2025, we had the
opportunity to travel to Guatemala. During that trip, God stirred something deep within
our hearts. We fell in love with the people of Guatemala and were inspired by the vision
of Give & Teach; Give to The Immediate need And Teach for a
sustainable future through the love of Christ. Throughout that week, we sensed God
calling us to something greater than occasional mission trips. As we returned home, we
couldn’t shake the feeling that He was asking us to make Guatemala part of our life’s
mission.
One of the things we love most about Give & Teach is that the impact extends far
beyond Guatemala. While the people of Guatemala are blessed through the ministry,
those who come on mission trips are often transformed as well. Time and time again,
we have seen people return home with a renewed passion for Christ, a deeper
understanding of God’s heart for the nations, and a greater desire to serve Him more
faithfully in their own communities. We believe mission trips are not only about changing
the lives of those we serve—they are also about allowing God to change our own
hearts.
Wanting to be certain we were following God’s direction, we returned to Guatemala a
couple of times in 2026 with open hearts, praying for confirmation. During those trips,
God answered those prayers in unmistakable ways. Through the relationships we built,
the opportunities to serve, and the overwhelming peace He gave us, He confirmed that
Guatemala is where He is calling our family to serve. What had begun as a stirring in
our hearts became a clear calling that we could no longer ignore.
Today, we are excited and humbled to answer God’s call by serving as full-time
missionaries in Guatemala with Give & Teach to rescue children through education and the gospel. We are grateful for the opportunity to share the hope of the Gospel, build meaningful relationships, and invest in the lives of children, families, and communities. Our prayer is that God will use our family not only
to serve the people of Guatemala but also to help others encounter Him in a life-
changing way, just as He has transformed our own hearts through missions. We step
forward in faith, trusting Him to provide, to lead, and to use our family to make an
eternal impact, all for His glory.
